CSLIT Chair: Student Trustee Sabrina Renna

CSLIT Director of Administrative Affairs: Angelina Micha Djaja

The Director of Administrative affairs acts as an assistant to the Student Trustee, including recording and distributing minutes for General Assembly meetings as well as Executive Council Meetings. She also assists the Student Trustee with financial duties and fills in for the Student Trustee in the case of an absence. Angelina Micha Djaja is a grade 12 student at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts.

CSLIT Director of Equity: Kalem McSween

Kalem McSween is the Director of Equity for CSLIT. As Director of Equity it is his duty to chair the Equity Standing Committee. Kalem’s charismatic personality, strong work ethic combined with his inspiration to help others, makes him the perfect person for the role. Now in grade 12, Kalem looks forward to sharing his leadership skills and abilities with other students of the TCDSB. Upon graduation, Kalem would like to go to university where he will pursue a degree in Journalism or Political Science.

CSLIT Director of Social Justice: Andrew Walker

Andrew Walker is the Social Justice Representative for CSLIT. His main role is to chair and co-ordinate the social justice committee, one of the two subcommittees of CSLIT. He also maintains CSLIT’s close relationship with the Canadian Catholic Organisation for Development and Peace, one of our main partners, and continues to build new partnerships with many different organisations. Andrew is currently enrolled at St. Michael’s Choir School as a grade eleven student.

CSLIT Director of Elementary Affairs: Michael Sist

Michael Sist is the Director of Elementary affairs. As Director of Elementary Affairs it is his responsibility to chair the eCSLIT meetings. Michael guarantees that his eccentric attitude and motivational character will be present throughout the year. He promises to take on tough issues and work with elementary school students to create a change in their school communities. It has always been a strong value of Michael’s to believe in the power of teens and to give them a chance to have a voice in their school communities. Currently, he is a grade 12 student at Chaminade College School.

CSLIT Director for Angel Foundation of Learning: Deanna Lentini

Deanna Lentini represents the student voice alongside the Student Trustee on the Angel Foundation for Learning Board. Deanna is responsible for maintaining partnership between Angel Foundation for Learning and CSLIT. Deanna has an active role in chairing the Buddy’s B.U.D.S standing committee; a standing committee that offers secondary students many opportunities to assist in furthering the work of Angel Foundation for Learning. Deanna is a student at St. Joseph’s Morrow Park Secondary School.

CSLIT Director of Social Affairs: Sylvia Gallo

Sylvia Gallo is the Director of Social Affairs and currently a senior student at Loretto Abbey Toronto. It is her duty to plan CSLIT social events, because after all their hard work, we believe that the delegates deserve to have some fun! The three main events she will be planning this year are the Christmas Social, Barbeque and The CSLIT Gala: Gifts as Seeds of Change. She hopes to share her experiences and knowledge through co-operating with the rest of the executives in administering various CSLIT initiatives throughout the year.

CSLIT Director of President’s Council: Patricia Roque

Patricia Roque is the Director of President’s Council for the 2011-2012 CSLIT term. As Director of Presidents Council, Patricia’s full duties include planning and chairing the Presidents Council meetings, which are for student council presidents in the TCDSB to come together and network about the best practices of each school. As a former President, Patricia is excited to provide current presidents the best opportunities and resources they need for a successful term. Patricia is a grade 12 student at Dante Alighieri Academy, and an active member of her leadership community.

CSLIT Public Relations Team: Patrick Parro, Michael Dizon, and Kim Cabral

The PR team is an amalgamation of the role as Public Relations director and the Marketing Team. The purpose and objective of the PR team is to promote CSLIT in all it’s goals and initiative both within the TCDSB and externally amongst it’s related stakeholders. The PR coordinators utilize social media as a primary medium to relay messages to student delegates across all TCDSB schools. The ultimate goal of the team is to encourage increased involvement from schools unaware of CSLIT and it’s initiatives.
